This wooden tucker box belonged to Patrick Curley. The tucker box would be filled with supplies including jam, honey, fruitcake, biscuits and pickles, that his wife had made. The tucker box would accompany him on his biennial journey to Blue Water Holes, near Cooma, where the sheep and cattle were taken each Summer to graze in good pasture. His visits were keenly awaited by single men at Blue Waters, as Patrick shared the supplies with them, providing a welcome relief to their regular diet of damper.
