Description: A dressing table with an Arts and Crafts style detail of scrolls around an oval mirror. A matching dressing table once resided in Dawn’s room. On display on the dressing table is a fashionable melanite dressing table set and personal memorabilia, including photographs of Manuka Swimming Pool dating from the 1930’s and one of Dell’s last day at Girls Grammar.

The interviewer is Kate Gardiner, ACT Museums and Galleries Education and Community Programs Manager, and the interviewee is Mrs Dawn Waterhouse, daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry and Dell Calthorpe. The interview was recorded for Foundation to Year 2 Primary School students so they can listen to a person talking about an artefact.
